Acer has announced the latest additions to its creator-focused laptop lineup at Computex 2025, Swift X 14 and Swift X 14 AI. Both pack an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU based on the new Blackwell architecture, positioning them as powerful tools for creative professionals.
Cutting-Edge Performance for Content Creators

The Swift X 14 AI is powered by AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processors, designed specifically to handle demanding AI workloads with up to 50 TOPS NPU performance. As a Copilot+ PC, it delivers exclusive AI experiences including Recall, Click to Do, improved Windows search, Cocreator, Live Captions, Image Creator, and Windows Studio Effects.

The Swift X 14 runs on Intel Core Ultra Processors (Series 2), with the flagship model featuring the Intel Core Ultra 9 processor 285H with Intel AI Boost capable of up to 13 TOPS of AI performance.
Both laptops are equipped with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPUs powered by NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, enabling AI-accelerated workflows for live streaming, video editing, and 3D rendering. These systems come pre-installed with NVIDIA Studio Drivers and support NVIDIA DLSS 4 technology and NVIDIA NIM Microservices for building AI assistants and workflows.
Premium Display and Design Features
Both models boast a 14.5-inch 3K OLED displays. These Calman-verified screens offer full DCI-P3 color range support, 340 nits of brightness, and VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 500 certification for excellent color accuracy essential in animation, photography, and video production.
The displays also feature edge-to-edge glass with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and are available with touch-screen options. The Acer Light Sensing technology automatically adapts color temperature and brightness based on ambient lighting conditions.
Both laptops introduce extra-large haptic touchpads for precise feedback and support for MPP 2.5 tilt-enabled stylus input, allowing users to draw, design, and take notes with greater precision. Their flexible design includes a 180-degree hinge that allows the device to lay flat for collaborative work.
Advanced Thermal Management and Connectivity
To maintain optimal performance during intensive creative tasks, both Swift X models feature advanced thermal technologies including dual TwinAir stereo ring fans, copper heat pipes, and dedicated air inlet keyboards.
The laptops come equipped with 1080p FHD IR webcams that support facial recognition through Windows Hello and Acer User Sensing technology. For audio, there’s the Acer PurifiedVoice 2.0 technology and a triple microphone array to minimize background noise during video conferences.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, with the Swift X 14 specifically featuring Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E. The Swift X 14 AI offers USB4 and DisplayPort support through its USB-C ports, while the Swift X 14 provides Thunderbolt 4 connectivity. Both models include USB 3.2 Type-A ports, HDMI, and MicroSD card readers.
Battery Life and Sustainability
The Swift X 14 boasts up to 16 hours of battery life based on video playback tests, while the Swift X 14 AI offers up to 11 hours. Both models feature 76 Wh 4-cell Li-ion batteries.
As part of Acer’s Earthion initiative, these laptops incorporate post-consumer recycled plastic in their construction and ship in 100% recycled packaging. They are also EPEAT Gold-registered, reflecting Acer’s commitment to sustainable practices.
