At this year’s Computex 2025 event in Taipei, Acer introduced a comprehensive range of connectivity-focused products, headlined by their new Iconia V Series tablets and an expanded lineup of Connect Series 5G devices, showcasing Acer’s continued commitment to meeting the evolving needs of mobile users who require reliable performance and connectivity solutions.
Iconia V Series: Premium Build with Practical Performance
The Iconia V Series – Iconia V12 and Iconia V11 tablets, cater to users seeking reliable mobile companions for everyday use. Both devices feature lightweight, all-metal chassis designs with a distinctive mist green aluminum alloy finish that combines aesthetics with durability.
The Iconia V12, measuring just 7.9 mm thin and weighing only 595 grams, features an 11.97-inch display with 2K resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate. Its smaller counterpart, the Iconia V11, maintains the same slim profile while weighing a mere 500 grams and having a 10.92-inch display with 1920×1200 resolution.
Both tablets are powered by MediaTek’s Helio G99 octa-core processor, paired with up to 8GB DDR4 RAM and running Android 15. Both also pack 8,000 mAh batteries providing up to 10 hours of usage between charges.
Storage configurations include up to 256GB of built-in eMMC storage, expandable to 1TB via microSD card. Connectivity options feature dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, with the Iconia V11 additionally offering optional 4G LTE connectivity.
Each tablet ships with a magnetic folio case that doubles as a three-level kickstand for hands-free viewing, with an optional stylus available for note-taking and creative applications.
Connect Series: Comprehensive 5G Ecosystem
Complementing the tablet offerings, Acer has expanded its Connect Series with three new devices designed to provide versatile 5G connectivity solutions:
The Acer Connect X6E Plus 5G CPE (Customer Premises Equipment) serves as a comprehensive home or office connectivity hub. Supporting dual WAN and 5G WAN connections with load balancing and failover capabilities, it offers Wi-Fi 6E compatibility and can connect up to 128 clients simultaneously. It supports multiple SIM formats, including eSIM, Nano SIM, and vSIM, while incorporating NFC touch-to-connect technology for simplified device pairing.
For users requiring mobile connectivity, the Acer Connect M4 5G Mobile Wi-Fi provides a portable hotspot solution capable of connecting up to 16 devices via Wi-Fi 6. With its tri-SIM support and compatibility across more than 135 countries, it eliminates the need for physical SIM swapping. The device features an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, while its 8,000 mAh battery delivers up to 28 hours of continuous usage. When not serving as a hotspot, it can function as a power bank for other devices.
Completing the lineup is the Acer Connect D5 Pro 5G Dongle, a compact plug-and-play solution weighing under 52 grams. Despite its small size, it delivers impressive performance with uplink speeds of up to 3.2 Gbps and 4×4 MIMO support for enhanced data throughput. Compatible with Windows, Chrome, Mac, and Linux operating systems, the dongle supports hot-swappable Nano SIM, eSIM, and vSIM technologies.

Availability and Pricing
The Iconia Tab V11 will be available in EMEA starting in August at €229, and in Australia at AUD 329. The Iconia Tab V12 will launch earlier in July, priced from €289 in EMEA and AUD 429 in Australia.
The Connect Series devices will see a staggered release, with the Connect M4 5G Mobile Wi-Fi arriving in August at €199, followed by the Connect X6E Plus 5G CPE and Connect D5 Pro 5G Dongle in September, both priced from €199.
