Introduction
The newest addition to realme’s popular C-series, the realme C75 focuses on durability as its main selling point but still remains committed to delivering a good overall experience. It’s mainly for those who are in an environment where the device can get exposed to the elements due to the fast-paced nature. It’s also for those who tend to drop their devices from time to time, accidentally, of course.
Design and Build Quality

The realme C75 boasts impressive durability credentials, bolstering IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, ensuring comprehensive protection against water and dust.

Its metallic matte finish with circular patterns shows thoughtful design, effectively resisting smudges. The implementation of ArmorShell Protection and ArmorShell Glass provides enhanced shock absorption and drop resistance up to 1.8m. Now, some would argue that all this can be done just by using a case, and to an extent, I do agree. However,

realme has also implemented an innovative SonicWave Water Ejection system, which effectively removes a certain amount of water from the speaker grille in case of accidental exposure.
The flat-sided design and punch-hole camera placement contribute to a modern aesthetic. However, the absence of a headphone jack is noteworthy, as it deviates from typical entry-level smartphone design. The silver lining, however, is that you do get provisions for a microSD card.
Performance

The realme C75 utilizes the Helio G92 Max processor paired with 8GB of RAM. While not class-leading in performance, it delivers adequate power for everyday tasks.

Can it game? – it will handle less demanding titles like Honor of Kings well, even if you crank the settings up a bit, though more intensive games like Honkai: Star Rail will require you to dial the settings down to Low or Very Low preset.

The device comes in either 128GB or 256GB of storage.
Camera

The 50MP main camera system delivers respectable imaging performance for its class. Photos exhibit good detail and sharpness in favorable lighting conditions.

Night photography also produces acceptable results suitable for social media sharing, though it sometimes takes a while to process the image. The 8MP front-facing camera performs adequately for selfies, though without exceptional distinction.
Audio and Multimedia

The realme C75’s 6.72-inch FHD+ display boasts a 90Hz refresh rate which strikes a reasonable balance for this price segment. While an LCD, it still delivers satisfactory visual quality for media consumption. On the other hand, the single downward-firing speaker produces clear vocals with decent volume levels, though a stereo setup would have enhanced the multimedia experience.
Software

The realme C75 runs realme UI 5 on top of Android 14. Like in its other devices, the software experience is contemporary and feature rich. The new Mini Capsule 3.0 offers practical functionality, including Grab app status updates that only work for ride-hailing, at least for now.

The AI Smart Loop feature facilitates seamless content sharing across applications, though the presence of pre-installed shortcut folders might not appeal to users preferring a cleaner interface.
Battery and Charging

Battery life is a strong suit of the realme C75, with the 6,000mAh capacity easily lasting through my typical daily usage, which involves a lot of social media updates, some photgraphy, Spotify, and YouTube.
The 45W SUPERVOOC charging capability demonstrates impressive efficiency, requiring just over an hour to restore power from 20% to full capacity. realme claims that the battery can maintain 80% of its health even after 1,460 charge cycles.
Verdict
For those who prioritize durability and battery life above everything, the realme C75 is a good option in the entry-level segment. Sure, it may not excel in raw performance or camera capabilities, but it delivers a well-rounded package with exceptional build quality and practical features for its price points of PHP 8,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant and PHP 10,999 for the 8GB+256GB model.
