One of the major changes is the introduction of a new Sans Serif font for things like the text in Settings, which will be replacing its iconic N-dot font.
In addition to the new font, Nothing OS 3.0 will have a redesign of the Settings and Quick Settings pages. The change of the latter will now allow you to adjust the size of the blocks as you see fit. The company also rolled out this level of customizability with the lock screen which will also come with newly-designed clock faces.
The latest of the Nothing OS version brings updates to the App drawer in the form of the Pin to Top feature and an AI-powered Smart Drawer that can sort your apps.
While we’re on the topic of apps, the company revealed its own Gallery app which will feature AI-powered key moments and image segmentation. The AI features were described to be able to discern special moments or items in your gallery and separate them for an easier way to navigate through your photos and videos.
The company also mentioned Super Resolution and Image Generation, other AI-powered features. The former improves the quality in your photos when you zoom in, while the latter allows you to become a variety of things like a Samurai.
A new Countdown widget will also be arriving which can visualize the time until an event in your life like a birthday or an anniversary. Moreover, widgets will also get a share and react function.
According to the company, the open beta will begin in October and a general release will start in December.
