Along with the global launch of the HONOR Magic V2, MagicPad 2, and MagicBook Art 14, HONOR has taken the wraps off its latest smartwatch, the HONOR Watch 5. This new addition to HONOR’s wearable lineup promises to deliver a blend of cutting-edge technology, extended battery life, and comprehensive health monitoring features.
Stunning Display and Long-lasting Battery
The HONOR Watch 5 boasts a 6-series Aluminum frame and a generous 1.85-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 450 x 390 pixels, 60Hz refresh rate, and 1,000 nits of peak brightness. This ensures crisp visuals and fluid interactions as well as more real estate for content.
The HONOR Watch 4 already had stellar battery life, but the brand takes things even further – an impressive 15-day battery life thanks to a 480mAh Silicon-Carbon Battery. This is further enhanced by HONOR’s Turbo X Smart Power Management system.
Advanced GPS Tracking
HONOR has made significant strides in location tracking with the Watch 5, claiming to have improved GPS antenna signal strength by an impressive 100%, resulting in more accurate positioning. The new Accutrack feature also promises to deliver precise reflection of routes. This makes it an ideal companion for outdoor enthusiasts and fitness trackers alike.
Comprehensive Health Monitoring
The HONOR Watch 5 introduces a convenient one-click health scan feature, offering users quick access to vital health metrics. This includes:
- Heart rate monitoring
- Blood oxygen level tracking
- Stress monitoring
These features combine to provide users with a holistic view of their health status at a glance. Other things you get include Bluetooth 5.2, an IP68 rating, 5ATM waterproofing, 4GB of storage, and MagicOS 8.
Pricing and Availability
HONOR did not reveal the pricing of the HONOR Watch 5, but we’re hoping that it’s somewhere near the price of its predecessor, and that it also arrives here in the Philippines. As for color options, it’s Black, Gold, and Green.
