vivo has officially announced the launch of its highly anticipated V40 and V40 Pro smartphones, introducing significant upgrades in battery, camera, and overall design while maintaining ultra-thin profiles.

Both have a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The V40 retains the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 from its predecessor, while the V40 Pro receives an upgrade to a Dimensity 9200+. Both come with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage.

As for optics, the vivo V40 has 50MP main camera with OIS and a 50MP ultrawide unit, while the vivo V40 Pro has a 50MP Sony IMX921 main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultrawide shooter, and a 50MP Sony IMX816 telephoto + portrait unit with 2x optical zoom and 50x digital zoom.
