Following the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Ring, it seems like Oura, the Finnish company, is preparing to unveil the Oura Ring 4 after it was spotted receiving its certifications.
Oura Ring 4 Certification Images
Photos and documents of the new ring from Oura going through certification reveal its prototype look, images of the box labels, model numbers, and at least a color option.
The wearable is listed under the model number OA11 and in size 10. The latter though could be for the specific size used for certification. Oura Rings have historically been offered in eight different sizes.
The photos reveal a flat design with no raised bumps. Meanwhile, the label reveals at least one color – Gold but it is expected to come in other colors and finishes as well.
The timing of the upgrade for the Oura Ring seems pretty interesting as it follows the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Ring. As a reminder, the third-generation Oura Ring was introduced in October 2021, which means it is due for an upgrade.
Oura has yet to announce the Oura Ring 4 though officially. So we’ll just have to wait and see if we see the next-generation wearable will be launched around the time of its predecessor or a bit earlier.
