MSI Claw 8 AI+ and Claw x Fallout Limited Edition Introduced at Computex 2024

MSI announced two members of the MSI Claw family – the MSI Claw 8 AI+ and a limited edition of the original MSI Claw at Computex 2024.

MSI Claw 8 AI+

The MSI Claw 8 AI+ is powered by the next-generation Intel Core Ultra processors (codenamed Lunar Lake) and builds on the success of the Claw. The Lunar Lake Ultra processors offer improved energy efficiency for the gaming handheld.

In addition to the new chips, MSI listened to user feedback and upgraded several hardware specs. Among these include:

  • an additional Thunderbolt 4-supported USB-C port
  • enhanced tactile feel of the LB/RB buttons
  • increased battery capacity
  • replaced the charger with a lighter wall-mounted charger

The MSI Claw 8 AI+ is expected to be the most advanced 8-inch gaming handheld in the market. After the release, users can also enjoy a one-month free trial of Xbox Game Pass.

MSI Claw X Fallout Limited Edition

The original MSI Claw is also getting a Claw x Fallout limited edition which was done in partnership with Bethesda.

The entire exterior of the gaming handheld is inspired by the game’s Vaults, the Pip-Boys worn by Vault dwellers, and robots, making it an ideal item for Fallout fans and players worldwide.

These all come with an excellent grip, the largest battery in the industry, superior cooling, and joysticks and triggers with Hall effect sensors.

The Claw 11 runs on Windows 11, allowing players to enjoy the Fallout series anytime.
