OPPO unveiled the Reno11 and Reno11 Pro in China in late November last year and recently unveiled the series in the Philippines. However, there are already leaks on their successors the Reno12 and Reno12 Pro.
The details are said to come from a leaked internal document that reveals specs and a launch period.
OPPO Reno12 and Reno12 Pro Leaks
The OPPO Reno12 Pro is reported to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 which was listed with its technical name MTK DX2. Its vanilla sibling though was listed with an MKT 24M processor, which, as of writing this, is an unreleased chipset.
The Pro device is also listed to have a 6.7-inch 120Hz OLED panel with curved sides, a 50MP-led triple rear camera, a 5000mAh battery, support for 67W fast charging, 12GB RAM, and up to 512GB storage.
Much of these are shared by the vanilla device including the front panel, 12GB RAM, 50MP-led triple rear camera as well as the battery and charging capacity. Both devices are also listed to have a 50MP front camera and an IP65 rating. However, the Pro device will have autofocus on the front camera.
When is the OPPO Reno12 and Reno12 Pro launching?
Well, according to the alleged leaked document, the latest Reno series devices will debut in June 2024.
It is still pretty early though, so we could see the company change some things up until the actual launch. Among the changes that the company could definitely make is the launch period of the devices, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
