Nvidia starts 2024 strong with the announcements of three new GPUs in its RTX 40 series lineup. Nvidia announced at CES 2024 three new SUPER GPUs: the RTX 4070 SUPER, RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, and RTX 4080 SUPER. These three new SUPER GPUs will replace their non-super counterparts at an arguably more competitive price considering the spec increase.
Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER
The Nvidia RTX 4070 SUPER has 20 percent more cores than the RTX 4070’s 5888 CUDA cores. The RTX 4070 Super features 63 Shader TFLOPS, 82 RT TFLOPS, and 568 AI TOPS making it faster than the RTX 3090 according to Nvidia.
Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER
Yes, you’ve read that right. It’s the first time were seeing the “Ti” and a “SUPER” moniker in a single card Nvidia not only added more cores to the RTX 4070 Ti SUPER but also improved its memory to 16GB GDDR6X compared to the RTX 4070’s 8GB frame buffer. With the improved core count and higher memory size and bandwidth, Nvidia positioned the RTX 4070 Ti for gamers and creators as its performance is reportedly 2.5x faster than the RTX 3070 Ti.
Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 SUPER
The RTX 4080 SUPER is the fastest in the current RTX 40 series SUPER lineup. Its performance is up to twice that of the RTX 3080 Ti and 1.4x faster without frame generation. It has 10240 CUDA cores, 5% more than the RTX 4080 but has a higher boost clock of 2.55 GHz.
RTX 40 SUPER Series Pricing and Availability
The Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER is priced at Php 41,550 and will be available on January 17, 2024. The RTX 4070 Ti SUPER will retail for Php 55,420 on January 24, 2024. Lastly, the RTX 4080 SUPER has an SRP of Php 69,300 and will arrive on store shelves on January 31, 2024.
