AYANEO has unveiled its latest offering the AYANEO AM02, a mini PC with a unique retro design and features that includes a touchscreen on top.
AYANEO AM02 mini PC
The AM02 is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS processor which is based on the Zen 4 architecture with eight performance cores with clock speeds of up to 5.1GHz. The chip offers enough processing power for retro games and then some while also being capable enough for less demanding modern games.
What’s even more unique about this mini PC is the 4-inch touchscreen on top, but the company hasn’t revealed much about what you can do with this aside from showing watches and images with their own retro charm.
The front of the mini PC is a flap that can be lifted to reveal two USB-A ports, one USB-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. This, without a doubt, takes inspiration from retro consoles that have ports on the front for controllers.
Meanwhile, around the back, it features two USB-A ports, two Ethernet ports, one DisplayPort, one HDMI port, and another USB-C port for power. It also runs with AYASpace, a Windows app that is used in the company’s gaming handhelds as well.
The exact price of the AYANEO AM02 mini PC is yet to be unveiled but its Indiegogo page is now live. We should learn more about other details like the features and delivery date soon enough.
