RedMagic, the gaming subbrand of ZTE nubia, has announced that the RedMagic 9 Pro will be introduced in the global market on December 18, roughly a month after the initial launch of the RedMagic 9 Pro series in China.
RedMagic 9 Pro
Based on the official website, it seems like its only the RedMagic 9 Pro will make it out in the international market. This comes to no surprise though as the RedMagic 8 Pro series was also launched in China but we only saw the 8 Pro globally and in the Philippines.
Going back, the 9 Pro is the first gaming smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It is cooled by the ICE 13.0 Cooling System and offers a 6500mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.
The specs that the company has unveiled so far have been pretty identical to its Chinese variant. If this is indeed the case, then we can also expect a 6.8-inch 2480x1116p 120Hz BOE AMOLED panel, a 16MP under-display front camera, and two 50MP cameras around the back.
We’re sure to learn more as we get closer to its launch event on December 18.
