HONOR announced that the HONOR 100 series will arrive in China on November 23 and is expected to be comprised of two devices – HONOR 100 and 100 Pro.
HONOR 100 Series
What do we know so far about the HONOR 100 series?
The company’s next-generation mid-range devices have a unique camera module which seems to be different on the two devices of the series. One features an oval shape with a triple rear camera, while the other has a dual shooter module with a rectangular module but with a semi-circle black accent to make the cameras stand out.
We expect the triple rear setup to be the Pro variant, while the dual setup looks to be the vanilla device. What makes the 100 series quite intriguing, is that the two devices look like they’re of different series with how drastically different the designs are.
Additionally, the duo is said to have 50MP main cameras that support OIS. Other rumors suggest that the 100 Pro will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which is a nice upgrade from the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 on the HONOR 90 Pro.
With about a week to go for the launch of the HONOR 100 series, we expect the company to reveal more features of the new duo. It will launch in China on November 23.
