Alias microphones have a custom 1″ condenser capsule that’s three times the size of standard microphone capsules, allowing them to capture voices accurately, and the cardioid capsule pattern reduces background noise – perfect for clear and impactful vocals while streaming. There’s a custom shock mount which reduces vibrations, and the microphone’s design is sleek and made with gamers in mind.

To run Alias microphones, SteelSeries created Sonar for Streamers, a powerful software suite. This software provides everything a streamer needs for high-quality audio production. Streamers can use a 10-band EQ, audio routing, tuning, mixing, and ClearCast AI noise cancellation.

Sonar works with standard video broadcasting software like OBS and Streamlabs, without putting too much strain on the computer’s graphics, to avoid frame rate issues.

With Alias microphones and Sonar for Streamers, SteelSeries is setting a new standard for broadcast quality and control. The Alias series of microphones, powered by Sonar for Streamers, is available in two options:

SteelSeries Alias – Great Sound and Versatility Combined

Alias, a high-quality 24-bit/48kHz microphone designed specifically for gamers.. It captures every detail of a gamer’s voice, and the microphone shows mic levels with a 5-stage LED indicator that turns red when the streamer is muted. Streamers can monitor their audio in real-time using wired headphones, and they can personalize the setup with RGB lighting.

Connecting Alias to a PC is as simple as Plug & Play. Gamers can control input gain, mute, and headphone volume, and use a Nova series headset with a 3.5mm cable.

SteelSeries Alias Pro – The Best Streaming Microphone for Gamers

SteelSeries Alias Pro

Alias Pro, on the other hand, is an XLR microphone that captures a user’s voice accurately with high-quality 24-bit/48kHz audio. It uses a balanced XLR system, reducing noise and interference, to deliver clear sound. With the XLR Stream Mixer, gamers can enhance their production skills, and SteelSeries introduces an innovative StreamMixer for dual PC streaming.

Streamers can use Drag ‘n’ Drop Audio Routing to adjust up to five audio channels individually. Gamers can control mic gain and mute settings and customize LED indicators for audio levels while focusing on their stream. The gain dial indicates input levels with green and red lights, and RGB lighting adds a nice touch to their setup.

SteelSeries Alias is priced at PHP 11,100, while the SteelSeries Alias Pro will retail for PHP 19,555. The Alias Pro is now available via Lazada and Shopee, while the Alias will be arriving later this month. SteelSeries Sonar is also available to download for free here.
