Samsung has just quietly launched the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 series, which appeared on Amazon India. This is comprised of the Galaxy Tab A9 and Tab A9+ Android tablet.
Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Series
The first of the Galaxy Tab A9 series is the Galaxy Tab A9 which features an 8.7-inch IPS LCD 800x1340p resolution and is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. Meanwhile, the A9+ is said to come with an 11-inch LCD with WQXGA resolution paired with a Snapdragon 695 chipset.
In addition, it also comes with 4GB of RAM with 64GB of storage on the base model, while the A9+ arrives with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.
The duo features a 5100mAh battery and an 8MP rear camera. However, they differ with the front sensor with the base variant offering a 2MP lens and a 5MP sensor.
Additionally, the vanilla only features dual speakers, while its Plus sibling has a quad-speaker setup with support for surround sound.
Pricing and Availability
The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 series is available in India via Amazon. The duo is available in Grey, Silver, and Dark Blue color options. The Galaxy Tab A9 is priced at:
- 4GB+64GB (Wi-Fi only) – INR 12,999 (around PHP 8,900)
- 4GB+64GB (Wi-Fi + 5G) – INR 15,999 (around PHP 10,900)
Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab A9+ is priced at INR 20,999 (around PHP 14,300) for 8GB+128GB configuration but this is only for the Wi-Fi-only variant.
