HONOR X9b is set for its launch in Malaysia on November 1, but most of the details are still in wraps. That’s until recently, as the device has been spotted on its Saudi Arabia website, complete with full specifications. While it may not be the exact model that will launch in Malaysia, it’s probably close.
HONOR X9b Specs
In terms of design, HONOR X9b is similar to the HONOR X9a. You get a curved screen, and a round camera module. The difference is that there is now a Sunrise Orange variant, with a vegan leather back panel. There is no ingress protection, but it’s the first smartphone to have a 5-star overall drop resistance certification by Switzerland’s SGS.
It’s got a 6.78-inch AMOLED 2K HONOR Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, along with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. There is also a 5,800mAh battery which supports 35W fast-charging. It runs MagicOS 7.2 on top of Android 13.
For optics, the device boasts a 108MP main camera, a 5MP ultrawide + depth unit, and a 2MP macro lens. At the front, there’s a 16MP shooter with support for up to 1080p video recording. Other features include Bluetooth 5.1 and NFC. There is no mention of expandable storage.
As of the moment, the price of the HONOR X9b is still to be revealed.
