Lalamove partnered with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority to support the safety of their delivery drivers. They provided essential gear, including a new Honda Click motorcycle from Lalamove’s Panalomove Partner Agribank, an insulated Lalabag, a Lalamove helmet, a Lalajacket, and a first-aid kit.

Djon Nacario, the Managing Director of Lalamove Philippines, expressed their enthusiasm, saying, “This is just the first of the many initiatives we will have in partnership with MMDA. This effort is geared toward MMDA’s goal of stronger enforcement of driver safety education and regulations for all riders, especially for our Lalamove Partner Drivers.”

Nacario mentioned that they’re looking forward to the MMDA Motorcycle Riding Academy launching soon. This academy aims to train responsible drivers in the city. “We believe that MMDA’s training will make our roads safer for our Lalamove Partner Drivers, other drivers, and pedestrians,” Nacario added.

Once it’s up and running, the MMDA Motorcycle Riding Academy will can accommodate 100 participants in each session. It will have a clinic, restrooms, and dining areas for students.
