Shopee is making this year’s 9.9 Super Shopping Day more exciting with Vice Ganda, a popular comedian, as its new ambassador. Vice Ganda will be part of Shopee’s ads and events, making sure Shopee’s millions of users are up to date with the latest deals.

By working together with Shopee, they want to use online selling to help small businesses, especially those in faraway areas.

The partnership is starting by helping business owners in Quirino province, who have received training from Shopee on how to sell online and got help with setting up their online stores. Quirino province is known for products like coffee, chocolates, ginger and turmeric tea, and home decorations.
Governor Dax Cua, the head of Quirino province, is excited. He says, “Our provinces have great products and talented people. This partnership with Shopee will let our local business owners reach more customers, learn important online skills, and make more money. We’re also happy that Shopee’s users can discover all the amazing things the Philippines has to offer.”
