ASUS has announced the release of its 2023 Flow series of devices comprised of the new ROG Flow X13 and Flow Z13.
The ROG Flow X13 includes a new 13-inch Nebula Display, an updated internal design, and a redesigned chassis. Similarly, the Flow Z13 comes with a new 13-inch Nebula Display and new processors which enhance the functionality of the tablet.

ROG Flow X13
The Flow X13 was the first member of the Flow family, and for 2023, it will also be one of the first machines to feature a 13-inch Nebula Display.
The device boasts an AMD Ryzen 9 Processor paired with a QHD 165Hz panel that is powered by an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 laptop GPU.
Moreover, the all-new Flow X13. Despite containing upgraded hardware, the Flow X13 is 10 mm smaller than the previous year’s model and retains its 15-inch keyboard layout while also enlarging the touchpad by 56%. The battery has also been upgraded to 75 Wh to provide more power on the go.
The device now supports up to 130W charging via a lightweight and portable USB-C adapter. The exterior has been redesigned with a unique wave pattern on the aluminum lid, which gets progressively thicker to add grip for easy carrying.
Also, the display features the new Corning Gorilla Glass DXC coating, which increases surface hardness by 40% and significantly reduces glare.

ROG Flow Z13
The Flow Z13 returns this year with upgraded components like the 13-inch Nebula Display with QHD resolution and 165Hz refresh rate.
The Flow Z13 is powered by up to an Intel Core i9-13900H and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU.
Even with these upgrades, the Flow Z13 is still incredibly thin and light, measuring in at just 12 mm thick and 1.1 kg in weight. With an included keyboard that doubles as a screen cover, the Z13 is the ultimate lightweight and portable traveling companion.
The Z13 also remains deceptively quiet despite its small size, thanks to a custom vapor chamber and Thermal Grizzly liquid metal thermal compound on both the CPU and GPU.
With a 170° kickstand, the Z13 is perfect for any scenario, whether gamers need a tablet, controller gaming machine, or full-blown battle station when paired with an ROG XG Mobile external GPU.
A built-in 3DNR 5MP webcam and 13MP front-facing camera ensure that gamers enjoy capturing important moments.
