After the reveal of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra for the Chinese market, the phone is now receiving its first software update.

The newest release, MIUI 14.0.8.0 TMACNXM, is based on Android 13, much like the 14.0.7.0 version before it.
As for the camera, numerous picture quality enhancements have been made “for specific scenes,” and the default zoom rate for Quick Snap mode has been increased to 1.5x. The focal length options for Quick Snap mode have been changed to 0.6m, 1.2m, and 5m.
Improvements to the functioning of transportation cards “for diverse regions” are made to the Mi Wallet, which is exclusively available in China.
Moreover, the update comes with unspecified upgrades for user experience alongside improved system stability and image quality.
This latest update has not yet been confirmed for the global market as of writing this article.
