Sony is set to launch the new Sony Xperia 1 V device this coming May 11. The company has released a teaser video for its upcoming launch event, which will start at 1 PM Japan time (12 PM PH time) on the second Thursday of May.
Sony’s YouTube channel will broadcast the launch event live, and reservations are now open.

The new Xperia 1 V is said to have the same aesthetics as other devices in the Xperia 1 lineup.
Reports also say that a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC will power the device alongside a triple camera setup that is said to include a 12MP main camera, 12MP periscope, and a 48MP ultrawide lens.
