POCO has just announced that the POCO F5 series will debut on May 9 at 8 PM (Philippine Time, GMT+8). The series is comprised of the POCO F5 and F5 Pro.
POCO F5 Series
The announcement comes after Snapdragon India revealed that the POCO F5 will be powered by the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset.
As the announcement is pretty fresh, POCO has yet to reveal much about the device but there are rumors that it will come in three colors – black, white, and blue.
Let’s not forget that Himanshu Tandon, Country head of POCO India confirmed through a tweet that the company’s next devices will come in 8+256GB and 12+256GB variants. Given that the tweet came out on April 17, we assume he was referring to the POCO F5 series or at least a member of the series.
We expect to learn more about the latest POCO F-series devices in the following days as the company builds hype for the May 9 online launch event.
