The iQOO Z7 and Z7x have been launched in China. Keep in mind that they are different versions from the Z7 5G, which was released last week in India. Moreover, there isn’t a Pro model (as of writing this article), although the standard Z7 includes certain Z6 Pro-like features.
iQOO Z7
Though it isn’t a genuine successor, the iQOO Z7 has certain similarities to the Z6 Pro. It is powered by the Snapdragon 782G, Qualcomm’s successor to the Snapdragon 778G(+), which was used in the Z6 Pro and SD 695 in the vanilla Z6.
It is coupled with 128/256GB of UFS 2.2 storage and 8 or 12GB of RAM (LPDDR4X) in this instance. Storage cannot be expanded, in contrast to the standard Z6. This phone, along with the other Z7 versions, comes pre-installed with Android 13 and OriginOS 13, at least in China. Up to 8GB of virtual Memory is supported.

iQOO Z7x
The iQOO Z7x resembles the Z6 more. The storage options are 128/256GB UFS 2.2 and 6/8GB LPDDR4X RAM on the same Snapdragon 695 processor. Moreover, a microSD slot for cards up to 1TB is present.
Moreover, it now charges at 80W and has a capacity of 6,000mAh, up from 5,000mAh/18W on the Z6. While it is slower than the Z7 battery, some people might prefer the larger capacity. And this one doesn’t go very slowly either – it reaches 70% in 34 minutes. It should last for around 19 hours of movie watching if you complete it to 100%.

- 8 + 128GB is priced at CNY 1,300 (around PHP 10,300)
- 8 + 256GB is priced at CNY 1,400 (around PHP 11,000)
- 12 + 256GB is priced at CNY 1,500 (around PHP 12,000)
The iQOO Z7 and Z7x can now be pre-ordered on vivo’s Chinese online store. Also, the Z7 and Z7x units can be expected to ship out by the 24th (this coming Friday).
