Additional rumors are now suggesting that a wireless chip for Bluetooth and WiFi connections will also be included. Currently, the brand uses Qualcomm cellular chips and Broadcom wireless chips.
A tipster reported that the brand’s plan of creating a cellular and wireless chip by 2025 will help the company save on production costs, improve power efficiency, and use less space. This is also part of the brand’s move to lessen its reliance on third-party sources.
