An extensive report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gunman about the Apple Reality Pro VR/AR headset has just been posted.
The new Apple Reality Pro mixed-reality headset may be launched this year during WWDC in the U.S. with a price tag of USD 3,000 ( around PHP 164,000).
Furthermore, the Reality Pro is said to be made of Aluminum, glass, and cushions which Gunman said is like the AirPods Max.

Other rumored features of the Reality Pro are as follows:
- Curved screen on the front
- Speakers on each side of the headset
- Headband
- It uses a modified version of the Apple M2 processor
- Battery capacity is equivalent to 2x iPhone 14 Pro Max’
- Face and eye tracking
- Combines VR and AR elements
- It has its own UI
- External cameras for tracking your hands
- xrOS
- Can realistically render a person’s face and full body in a virtual environment
- Can be used an as external monitor for Mac
Moreover, the headset is reported to have the capability to simulate a giant theatre screen in a completely simulated space and will require the AirPods for the Spatial Audio feature to add more immersion.
The Cupertino-based company is said to provide an in-store environment for you to test the Reality Pro. Gunman also said that Apple is not expecting much in terms of profit even with the headset’s high price tag.
