Acer Showcases AMD Ryzen 7000 Series-powered Nitro 16 and Nitro 17 Laptops at CES 2023

Acer has just introduced the new Nitro 16 and Nitro 17 gaming laptops powered by the AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors at CES 2023. These were launched alongside the new Swift Go 14 laptop and the major update to the company’s SpatialLabs TrueGame software.

Both laptops come with up to 32GB of DDR5 5600MHz memory and up to 2TB of M.2 PCIe Gen 4 storage. Additionally, they have dual fans and liquid metal thermal grease for improved cooling. They are integrated with NitroSense software and a NitroSense key so you can monitor temperatures and manage performance settings.

They both have an HD camera, two microphones, and two speakers with DTS:X Ultra. For connectivity, the two new Nitro laptops offer an HDMI 2.1 port, a microSD card reader, USB 2.0, USB4, a Type-C USB 3.2 Gen 2 display port with PD, and two USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports.

The 16-inch Nitro 16 (AN16-41) has an upgraded WUXGA or WQXGA display with a 165Hz refresh rate and a 5% larger panel than its previous model. The panel covers the 100% sRGB color gamut and an 84% screen-to-body ratio.

It has up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series laptop GPUs which support NVIDIA Advanced Optimus. The latter lets you seamlessly switch between integrated graphics and discrete graphics.

The laptop has a 125mm x 76.7mm touchpad and a 4-zone RGB backlit keyboard.

Meanwhile, the Nitro 17 (AN17-41) features a 17.3-inch display with either an FHD resolution with 144Hz or 165Hz refresh rates or a QHD resolution with a 165Hz refresh rate. It has an 81% screen-to-body ratio.

It also has a massive 125mm x 81.6mm touchpad as well as an RGB 4-zone backlit keyboard. Nitro 17 comes with AMD Ryzen 7000 series processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs.
