According to the Ookla analysis of Speed Intelligence data, Smart Communications, Inc. is the fastest mobile network for Apple, Samsung, and Android devices for Q3 2022.
The report reveals that the users of Android, Apple, and Samsung in the Philippines experienced between 35 to 75% faster speeds while connected to the Philippine mobile telco.

Fastest Speeds on Smart Network
Ookla figures show that Android devices performed 59% faster across all Smart network technologies and up to 35% on Smart LTE.
Meanwhile, Apple devices were 75% faster on its network and 56% faster on the 4G/LTE network. This was similar on iPhones with recorded speeds of 75% faster and 57% faster on all network technologies and LTE network, respectively.
Lastly, Samsung devices were 69% faster across all the network’s technologies, 58% faster on its LTE, and 45% on 5G.

The latest Ookla data comes on the heels of Smart receiving recognition from Ookla as the country’s best Mobile Network from Q1-Q2 2022.
To earn recognition, Smart had to top Fastest Mobile Network and Best Mobile Coverage in the Ookla Speedtest Awards from Q1-Q2 2022. The Philippine telco did so with a Speed Score of 62.22 and 794, in Fastest Mobile Network and Best Mobile Coverage, respectively.
