AnTuTu published its list of the most powerful Android phones for the month of September in China. It showed that the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ dominated the list and beat all of the Snapdragon SoC in the same category.
According to this list, the Dimensity 9000+-powered ROG Phone 6D bested 9 Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 flagship phones.
Not only did the ROG Phone 6D score high but it was also reported to handle the heat with its exclusive cooling fans.
MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ Tops the List
The top ten flagship phones on the featured list are all Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC powered except for the ROG Phone 6D.
The lone MediaTek Dimensity-powered device scored 1,123,036 followed by the OnePlus AcePro in second with a score of 1,111,200 and for the third palace the iQOO 10 Pro with a score of 1,091,058.
For a quick refresher, the Dimensity 9000+ SoC has 1x Cortex-X2 core running at up to 3GHz, 3x A710 cores running at up to 2.85 GHz, and 4x Cortex-A510 power-saving cores running at up to 1.8GHz. It is also one of the first chips manufactured by TSMC using 4nm technology.
