In the Philippines, vivo has been on a roll with its smartphone launches – from the T series, its flagship X80 series, and the recently unveiled Y35, the brand is giving Filipinos access to a wide range of devices that fit their lifestyle and budget. Now, the brand is rumored to add another member to its popular Y-Series – the vivo Y16.

vivo Y16 is rumored to have up to 128GB of internal storage for all your files, along with 4GB of RAM which can provide aid in multi-tasking. The device is also said to offer long-lasting performance with a 5,000mAh battery, which translates to hours of gaming, streaming, and music playback.

All content is said to be displayed on a 6.51-inch Halo FullView display, complimented with eye-protection mode. Users can also expect features like a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and facial recognition.

As with several recent devices from vivo, this device is also said to feature Multi Turbo 5.5 which optimizes every aspect of the device to improve smoothness and stability, as well as Ultra Game mode, which offers several settings to enhance the overall gaming experience.

Love to take selfies? the vivo Y16 is rumored to feature Aurora Screen Light to provide extra illumination in dark scenes, letting you take that insta-worthy shot even in less-than-ideal lighting conditions.

Design-wise, style and comfort take priority for vivo, and it’s no different with the Y16, a lightweight device that only measures 8.19mm thin, and that’s despite having a high-capacity battery.
