Logitech G and Tencent Games have announced their partnership and a plan to release a Gaming Handheld device that is focused on cloud gaming by the end of this year.
Both companies are working closely with the teams that created Xbox Cloud Gaming and Nvidia GeForce Now. This may mean that both services may be available out of the box and will allow players to have on-the-go access to triple-A titles.
However, it is still not clear if the device Logitech G and Tencent is planning to release can run games locally as it was only stated that it will be used for cloud gaming setting it apart from other devices like the Steam Deck.
In addition, a patent, which may not be connected to this report, was passed last 2020 regarding a PC Console by Tencent that was discovered by people on the subreddit r/SteamDeck showing renders of the device.
