According to a report from Digital Chat Station, an upcoming device with a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset with a 120Hz display and a 5,000mAh battery is in the works. At the head of the rumored device is a 200MP sensor.
While it wasn’t revealed entirely revealed by the leakster, it is heavily speculated to be a Xiaomi phone. If this is true, it will join Motorola which is set to introduce the Edge 30 Ultra with a 200MP sensor.
The sensor is believed to be either the Samsung ISOCELL HP1 or the ISOCELL HP3, both sporting 200MP resolution. The only difference between the two is the optical format and pixel size – 1/1.22-inch and 0.64µm and 1/1.4-inch and 0.56µm respectively.
Assuming it is a Xiaomi device, it is uncertain if Leica will work on the device. We’ll have to wait for more information, both official and leaks.
