Arcfox introduced the alphaS electric car, the first running on the Huawei Inside full smart car solution platform and HarmonyOS.
Huawei Inside handles the car’s sensors and also supports various levels of autonomous driving. Meanwhile, HarmonyOS powers the cabin and ties in with the rest of the Huawei ecosystem.
The Arcfox alphaS is equipped with LIDAR, radar modules, and nine assisted-driving system cameras.
As far as performance goes, the new electric car can reach a speed of 100km/h in 3.5 seconds. Its electric motor delivers 473kW of peak power and 655Nm maximum torque.
It has a range of 200km with a 187kW battery that charges at 800v. According to the company, a 15-minute charge is said to offer 50% of battery life.
The Arcfox alphaS is available in China for CNY 397,000. It also has a premium option that goes for CNY 429,000. Its availability outside of China is uncertain yet as of writing this, but if we were to take a guess, it will be exclusive to the local market.
