A report from Analyst Jeff Pu of Haitong Intl Tech Research has surfaced recently revealing the Apple M2 Pro will be in mass production later this year. This is even before the latest MacBook Air and 13-inch MacBook Pro powered by the M2 chip even hit the shelves.

He mentions that the new M2 Pro will be TSMC that will be working on the new chipset. Additionally, it is tipped to be on the 3nm process instead of the 5nm process that was used for the vanilla M2 and M1 Pro. The Apple M2 Pro is also said to feature 4x efficiency cores and 8x performance cores.

In case you missed it, the new Apple M2 chipset which is the successor of the Apple M1 processor was unveiled at the WWDC 2022 event that happened earlier this week.

Pu also added a report regarding Apple’s AR headset that is expected to ship in Q2 2023 and will be announced after the Chinese new year and will enter mass production by February 2023.

For now, we can only wait for Apple’s official statement regarding the Apple M2 Pro Chipset.
