Twitter has just announced that it will be testing an edit feature on Twitter Blue Labs in the coming months.
The announcement comes after the platform revealed that it is working on an edit button on April 2. Because it was revealed pretty close to April 1, users doubted the reliability of the reveal. However, it was clarified that the edit feature has been in the works since last year.
Based on the GIF that was shared, it looks like the edit feature will, at least initially, be accessed from three dots on the upper right of your tweet along with Delete tweet and others.
The platform previously added monetization functions as well as the option to choose who can reply to your tweets. However, the edit feature on Twitter is perhaps the most requested feature.
