Snap Inc. has just introduced the Snap Pixy, a compact drone that has no remote control. Instead, it has a wheel on the top where you can select a mode and it will automatically fly.

The drone has four preconfigured flight paths. These include floating, orbiting, and running modes. The last of which starts from a distance and then films its way back to you. The Snapchat app can also be used to program ready-made flight paths.

The drone captures 12MP photos and videos in 2.7K resolution. These are stored in an integrated 16 GB memory. It is said to be enough for 100 videos or 1,000 photos.

The data can be transferred to your smartphone through the Snapchat app with the possibility of exporting the files to other apps.
