The realme 9 5G series, comprised of the realme 9 5G and realme 9 SE 5G, is confirmed to arrive in India on March 10 at 12:30 PM, India Time (3:00 PM, Philippine Time).
These phones are part of the realme 9 series but the designs closely resemble their predecessor the realme 8 series. This includes the familiar four-hole design on the camera island. The manufacturer only added a few changes like the ripple holographic effect on the back of the phone except for the SE variant which will feature a different design.
The Realme 9 5G and SE 5G features are as follows:
- 144Hz display
- MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC for the Realme 9 5G
- Snapdragon 778G for the SE variant
- 48MP main cameras for both phones
Rumors have reported that the 9 5G variant may come in four colors namely Stargaze White, Supersonic Blue, Supersonic Black, and Meteor Black. Additionally, it is said to come in a 6/64GB and an 8/128GB configuration.
The 9 5G variant may include a 2MP depth sensor that accompanies the 48MP main camera along with a 2MP macro shooter. It is also reported that the front camera may have a 16MP lens.
