realme debuted the realme 9i in early January 2022. The company is expected to follow it up with the introduction of the realme 9 Pro and 9 Pro+ on February 19.

Ahead of an official launch date or almost all details on either device, Vice President of realme and President of realme International Business Group, Madhav Sheth revealed a bit about the realme 9 Pro+ on Twitter.

Sheth revealed that the device will feature a heart rate sensor to measure your pulse. In addition, he shared a video showing that the feature will utilize the in-display fingerprint scanner to do this.

However, the company clarified that it is not a medical instrument and the data shouldn’t be used for medical treatment or diagnosis.

The video not only showcases the new feature, but it also gives us a peek into the front of the device. The in-display fingerprint scanner all but confirms that it will feature an AMOLED panel. Additionally, the video reveals a punch hole on the upper left corner of its display for the front camera.

The only other confirmed spec of the device is a MediaTek Dimensity 920 chipset at the helm. However, the lack of official specs is expected to change with the company believed to reveal more to build up hype for the launch.
