MediaTek has confirmed on its official Weibo that its flagship Dimensity 9000 chipset will power the OPPO Find X5 series. It makes it the first smartphone/s to feature the new MediaTek flagship SoC.
The flagship SoC will be based on TSMC’s 4nm process with a 3.0GHz Cortex-X2 super core, three 2.85GHz A710 large cores, and four 1.8GHz A510 mid-core architecture.
The performance of the Dimensity 9000 on the Antutu benchmark showed it scored 1,017,488 points which is higher than its competitor – Snapdragon 8 Gen 1’s score. On the other hand, Geekbench results were 1,273 points for the sing-core test and 4,324 points for the multi-core test. This also shows the multi-core test also exceeds the flagship Snapdragon’s score of 3,800+.
