Dr. TM Roh, President and Head of MX Business at Samsung Electronics, confirmed in a blog post today that the company will hold an Unpacked event on February 2022 where it will unveil the new Galaxy S series.
In the post, he recalled the launch of the Galaxy Note series back in 2011 with the expansive display and notepad-like functionality. The device not only offered a larger display, but it also introduced the S Pen which empowered users to bridge creativity and productivity.
Dr. Roh then looked at 2019, the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold series that brought a new form factor to the mobile industry. Again, the company changed the industry with the introduction of the foldable design. It made multitasking with multiple windows a breeze with the option to use it with a larger tablet-sized display.
He also acknowledged the lack of a Galaxy Note series device last year but teased that the upcoming Galaxy S series will have Galaxy Note features, or as he puts it, ‘noteworthy’. Additionally, he mentioned that it will be revealed in an Unpacked event in February 2022.
“At Unpacked in February 2022, we’ll introduce you to the most noteworthy S series device we’ve ever created. The next generation of Galaxy S is here, bringing together the greatest experiences of our Samsung Galaxy into one ultimate device.”

He also hinted at some of the features we can expect from the new Galaxy S series devices such as improved night photography and videos as well as being offering the smartest Galaxy experience.

You will also dominate the day with power, speed, and tools that can’t be found elsewhere. You will enjoy cutting edge-innovations made possible thanks to the smartest Galaxy experience yet.
