Tipster Ice Universe shared results of the Geekbench 5 revealing that the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 outclassed the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and Exynos 2200. The results were conclusive for both single-core and multi-core scores.
The MediaTek flagship chipset also impressed in the AI Benchmark test. However, with the AI Benchmark, it was up against the previous flagship chipsets.
Despite the impressive performance of the MediaTek Dimensity 9000, it is yet to be seen powering a device available in the market as with the Exynos 2200. Whereas the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is already powering multiple devices like the Xiaomi 12 series, HONOR Magic V, OnePlus 10 Pro, and Motorola Moto Edge X30 to name a few.
We expect a better representation of performance once actual devices launch with the Dimensity 9000 and Exynos 2200 as well.
