ASUS announced new peripherals for gamers in the FPS-themed For Those Who Dare: The Rise of Gamers virtual event at CES 2022.
The lineup of products includes the ROG Fusion II 500 and 300 gaming headsets, ROG Strix Flare II Animate gaming keyboard with AniMe Matrix display, ROG Chakram X gaming mouse with the ROG AimPoint sensor that has a push-fit socket design, and ROG apparel.
ROG Fusion II 500 and 300
The Fusion II 500 and 300 delivers unmatched gaming audio with its high-resolution ESS 9280 with Quad DAC technology.

- Virtual 7.1 Surround Sound for realistic positional audio
- 50mm ASUS Essence Drivers that deliver thumping bass
- Concealed AI Beamforming for the Fusion II 500 for clearer voice pick up and noise suppression
- AI noise suppression which can identify 500 different kinds of background noise and eliminate it
- Game Chat volume control for the Fusion II 500 for easy in-game volume control
- 3.5mm connector(for Fusion II 500 only)/USB-C/USB type-A connectors for compatibility with PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices.
- Ergonomic ear cushions for a perfect fit
- Both offer multi-color RGB lighting with 16.8 million colors for customization
ROG Strix Flare II Animate & Strix Flare II Gaming Keyboards
The ROG Strix Flare II Animate is the first to feature the AniMe Matrix LED display that allows you to customize and add images and GIF animations uploaded via Armory Crate software.

- AniMe Matrix can display audio visualizations and system parameters
- The Stylish design includes metal media and volume controls at the top left corner as well as an ergonomic detachable wrist rest with a built-in diffuser
- almost instantaneous response with its 8000Hz polling rate that provides 0.125 ms response time
- ROG NX mechanical switches that are swappable
- ROG PBT keycaps that have a mid-height profile and shorter stems for less wobbling
- ROG Switch Stabilizer mechanism reduces friction that ensures smooth keystrokes
- USB pass-through port for a convenient connection to other devices
Take note that the Strix Flare II gaming keyboard is similar to the Strix Flare II Animate except for the AniMe Matrix, swappable switches, and light diffuser for the wrist rest.
ROG Chakram X Gaming Mouse
The Chakram X gaming mouse is the first to feature the ROG-developed ROG AimPoint optical sensor that can deliver speed and accuracy with up to 36,000 dpi and 8000 Hz polling rate. The AimPoint sensor has a 1% CPI deviation that is well below the 3% industry average that can be adjusted via the DPI button on the underside of the mouse.

- Concave Joystick Design for a more comfortable grip with gamepad-like controls
- Has four buttons that mirror the A, B, X, Y buttons
- Left/Right mouse buttons have pivoted mechanisms to ensure rapid response
- Push-Fit Switch Socket II design that is now hot-swap compatible with both 3-pin mechanical and 5-pin optical switches that allow click force adjustments and life span extension
- Screw-less magnetic top cover for easy access to switches, customizable logo, and wireless RF receiver bay

- The rechargeable battery can be topped up via USB or wireless Qi
ROG Rapture GT-AXE16000 Gaming Router
The Rapture GT-AXE16000 is the first in the world to feature a quad-band WiFi 6E router. ASUS engineers unlocked the full potential of all four bands- 2.4GHz, two 5GHz, and 6GHz- with 160MHz channels in the 5GHz and 6GHz bands that deliver the fastest speed possible.

In addition, the 5GHz bands can be used as a dedicated backhaul to the central router to free up other bands for device connections. The 6GHz band can also be used as a backhaul when used with other WiFi 6E routers to give gamers a clean and faster transmission between routers.
ROG Pixel Game jacket and ROG gravity Hoodie
The ROG Pixel Game Jacket is made from French Terry fleece that features a full-zipper design with ribbed trims. It has a detachable drawstring hood and 8-bit-pixel inspired graphics to give it a retro gaming look. Sizes are small up to XXL.
Moreover, the ROG Gravity Hoodie is made of soft, heavyweight French terry fabric. Has a hood large enough so you can wear headphones under it, kangaroo pockets for small items, and embroidered ROG logo and Pattern for increased visibility in the dark. Sizes are small up to XXL.
