ASUS has just unveiled its lineup of commercial laptops for both enterprise and education markets at CES 2022. The roster includes ExpertBook B5, B5 Flip and B3 Detachable, ExpertCenter D700 series, and ASUS Chromebook Flip CX5.
ASUS ExpertBook B5 series
The ASUS ExpertBook B5 series is comprised of the ExpertBook B5 (B5402C) and ExpertBook B5 Flip (B5402F) models. They now come in 14-inch displays, complementing the existing 13-inch ExpertBook B5 models.
The series is equipped with up to an Intel Core i7 processor with Iris Xe graphics, up to 48GB RAM, and WiFi 6E. They also feature two SSDs to provide up to 2TB capacity.
Additionally, the new models feature I/O ports including a Thunderbolt 4 port, a microSD card reader, Ethernet port, USB Type-A, and an HDMI port.
The B5 Flip has a touch-sensitive display and supports both finger and stylus input. It has a 360° flippable hinge, as the name suggests.
They have an integrated fingerprint sensor, an IR camera, a physical webcam shield, and an optional TPM 2.0 chip for extra security.
ASUS ExpertBook B3 Detachable
Meanwhile, the ASUS ExpertBook B3 Detachable is a 2-in-1 laptop powered by the Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 platform with Windows 11 pre-installed.
It comes with an optional ExpertStand and an ExtraBoard. The former is a robust, easy-connect cover, while the latter is a keyboard with a 1.5mm key travel. It allows you to use it as a tablet or a laptop as well as stand it vertically or horizontally for viewing files or watching videos.
The 2-in-1 laptop has an optional garaged stylus that allows you to get every detail when drawing or taking quick notes or marking documents.
ASUS ExpertCenter D7 series
The ExpertCenter D7 series is comprised of the ExpertCenter D700SD (SFF), D700MD (mini-tower), and D700TD (tower), which feature the up to the 12th Gen Intel Core i9 processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 discrete graphics. This is coupled with 128GB of DDR4 3200MHz RAM.
The ExpertCenter desktop PCs are ready to fit into almost any environment or scenario. They have tool-free design features that simplify maintenance, removing the need for screwdrivers or specialist equipment.
The optional ASUS Control Center is a centralized IT-management suite capable of remote management hardware and software monitoring, and task scheduling via a user-friendly web-based interface.
The desktops are built with the MIL-STD-810H US military standards and go through stringent ASUS in-house testing.
ASUS Chromebook Flip CX5
Lastly, the 16-inch ASUS Chromebook Flip CX5 (CX5601) which is a next-level convertible laptop. It features a 12th generation processor and supports WiFi 6E.
Additionally, the Intel vPro platform and Chrome Enterprise or Education Upgrade can be added on to enable IT administrators to optimize cloud-first workflows and enterprise security
The Chromebook also features four high-quality built-in speakers and an FHD webcam with a retractable physical cover. The former comes in handy when watching videos, while the latter can be used when in video meetings or in online classes.
