CES 2022 started with a bang as the tech industry is flooded with product announcements from major brands such as Intel, AMD, ASUS, and Nvidia. AMD finally launched its entry-level graphics cards in the name of the Radeon RX 6500 XT and RX 6400. Aimed at 1080p gaming, both the Radeon RX 6500 and RX 6400 feature the latest 6nm RDNA 2 Architecture.
The AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT is already set to compete with the newly released Nvidia RTX 3050 albeit priced lower at $199 versus the RTX 3050’s SRP of $249. The Radeon RX 6500 XT will be available on January 19th, 2022 at AMD partner retailers globally.
AMD also introduced the Radeon RX 6400 graphics card which is only available to OEM partners. The entry-level Navi 24 GPU has 768 stream processors, 4GB GDDR6 memory with a bandwidth of 16Gbps, and a 64-bit memory bus.
