vivo is bolstering the enthusiasm in the gaming community with the Battle of the Legends: Mobile Legends Bang Bang Tournament!
From January 12 to 28, 2022, vivo’s Battle of the Legends will bring together groups of e-sports fans through an open qualifiers for a chance to win exciting prizes. They can also get an opportunity to battle it out with vivo brand ambassadors and two of the country’s leading e-sports teams, Nexplay Esports and ECHO Philippines.
Interested participant can form a group of 5 starting players – one of them being the captain and one reserve player. They can register their slots from December 20, 2021, to January 8, 2022. Players must be lawful permanent residents and citizens of the Philippines in order to be eligible for the tournament.
The top 16 teams will be drafted through a single-elimination match. From here, the top 8 teams will go to the next round and play a best-of-3 series with the winners advancing to the semi-finals. Both the semi-finals and the Championship finals will be a best-of-5 series on February 13, 2022. The champion team will have a chance to go head-to-head with vivo ambassadors as well as Nexplay Esports and ECHO Philippines.
As for prizes, 4th placer gets PhP5,000, PhP20,000 for the 3rd placer, PhP50,000 for the 2nd placer, and the Champion will get PhP100,000 and a vivo Y76 5G smartphone for every player.
