Amidst the shift to its own HarmonyOS in China, Huawei has just released a list of the devices that will be receiving EMUI 12 in the international market. The list includes 28 devices that will receive the update starting the first half of 2022.
The company did not mention which version on Android the new EMUI is based on but it is believed to still be based on Android 11.
As far as the exact devices go, here it is:
EMUI 12 focuses on integrating more Huawei ecosystem with features like easy file sharing and remote control of various Huawei devices. Additionally, it will come with new animations and designs.
The notification panel is probably the biggest change with it now being separated into two. Swiping on the left brings down the notification panel while swiping on the right side summons the control panel where you adjust brightness, have media controls and toggle your Bluetooth and WiFi.
