Xiaomi has confirmed on Weibo that it will introduce the Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 tablet on August 10.
Based on the announcement poster, the tablet will support stylus support but it is uncertain if the stylus will arrive with the device or be sold separately.
Additionally, Pad 5 will also feature flat frames and an antenna line on the side which suggests a metal build and LTE/5G connectivity.
The Mi Pad 5 series is rumored to be comprised of the Mi Pad 5, Mi Pad 5 Lite, and Mi Pad 5 Pro. All three are expected to be built around a 10.9-inch IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate.
The vanilla and Pro options are said to have a Snapdragon 870 chipset, while the Lite will be powered by a Snapdragon 860.
Meanwhile, leaked images of the tablet revealed a camera module at the back that’s similar to Mi 11. It will also have a keyboard cover case with a holder for the stylus.
Xiaomi will also introduce the Mi Mix 4 on August 10. The Chinese company is expected to reveal more on the two devices as we approach the launch event.
