Smart Communications, Inc. has just unveiled Chris Evans, the Hollywood actor best known for his role in the MCU films as Captain America, as the face of its “Live Smarter for a Better World” campaign.
Chris is Smart’s first Hollywood A-list brand ambassador and featured in a world-class commercial directed by Pascal Heiduk. The German-born director has worked with brands like BMW, Montblanc, and Mercedes Benz AMG in addition to working with the likes of Hugh Jackman and Lewis Hamilton.
Chris remains to be one of the most popular and well-loved among Hollywood actors almost two years since Avengers: Endgame hit theaters. The movie remains the highest-grossing film of all time and among superhero franchises earning over USD 2.79 billion at the worldwide box office.
Through the “Live Smarter for a Better World” campaign, the company intends to inspire people to commit to sustainable actions with a lasting, positive impact on society.
“There’s nothing like the current challenges the world is facing to make us all realize that we are all interconnected and that our personal actions have a broader impact. Through our “Live Smarter for a Better World” initiative, it is our aim to create that spark in everyone to help change the world for the better rather than just settling for ‘good’,” said Alfredo S. Panlilio, Smart Communications’ President and CEO.
Smart has been known to support and promote various causes, including gaining a foothold in innovation, sustainability, and nation-building.
“We’re truly honored to collaborate with Chris on this project. He captivated the world for being a hero not just in film but also in real life by using his influence to help shape a better world for all. By lending his star power and appeal to support our campaign, we hope to inspire more people to bring out the hero within them and unleash their own power to help change the world – one positive action at a time,” adds Jane J. Basas, Senior Vice President and Head of Consumer Wireless Business at Smart.

He would then transition to focus more on the world of tech which has also began his journey into learning more about this world. That said though, he still has the mentality of "as long as it works" for his personal gadgets.
