Yesterday, realme influencer Alodia Gosiengfiao posted a very interesting photo on her Facebook account. The post shows her with two boxes that clearly say, realme TV – a 32-inch and a 43-inch model.

Now, we’ve yet to receive any confirmation from the brand, but this type of post is usually to create hype for a product that’s set to launch soon.

If you’ll remember, it was in May of last year when the brand introduced its 32″ and 43″ Smart TVs. The former has HD+ resolution, while the latter uses a 1080p panel. Both offer support for HDR10 and up to 400 nits of brightness.

Under the hood, you’ll find a custom quad-core chipset from MediaTek, along with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. Both are loaded with Android TV 9 and Google Assistant, which can be activated through a button on the remote. Connectivity-wise, you get three HDMI ports, two USB ports, a dedicated LAN port, and a tuner port. Both also support 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.

Other features include Dolby Speakers, bezel-less displays, and Chroma Boost, which enhances overall brightness, color, contrast, purity, and clarity.

So, the big question is, is this a sign that realme is set to launch these TVs in the Philippine market? the brand has been venturing into AIoT products for a while now, and expanding its ecosystem is perhaps, the no-brainer option.
