ASUS has just announced its newest lineup of productivity-focused notebooks at CES 2021. These devices offer very capable hardware while remaining highly mobile and as compact as they can be.
ZenBook Duo 14 and ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED
The ZenBook Duo 14 and the larger ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED were recipients of the 2021 CES Innovation Awards. The two laptops introduce the new ASUS ScreenPad Plus with a 3840×1100 resolution and 400 nits of brightness. It also automatically tilts upwards by up to 9.5-degrees in the ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED and 7-degrees in the ZenBook Duo 14.
The ZenBook Duo 14 is an Intel Evo-verified laptop with up to the latest Intel Core i7 processor and up to 16GB RAM. It gets up to a 1TB PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD and Intel Iris Xe graphics with a choice of a discrete NVIDIA GeForce MX450. It also features a 12.6-inch ScreenPad Plus.
The ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED, on the other hand, has up to the latest generation Intel Core i9 processor, up to 32GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 GPU, and up to 1TB PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD. Its ScreenPad Plus clocks in at 14 inches and packs a 4K UHD panel.
ZenBook 13 OLED and ZenBook 14
The ZenBook 13 OLED boasts an FHD OLED HDR NanoEdge display that’s PANTONE Validated. In addition, it has a 100% DCI-P3 color gamut and TÜV Rheinland-certified. This is housed in an all-metal chassis weighing at just 1.15kg and pretty thin at 13.9mm.
The ZenBook 14 is a 14-inch laptop with a QHD display with an ultra-slim 14.3 mm profile and said to offer up to 16-hours of usage. It features the ErgoLift hinge and includes ASUS AI Noise-Canceling Audio technology.
ExpertBook B9 and ExpertBook B1
The ExpertBook B9 aims to lead the commercial PC industry with an Intel vPro platform powering it. It also has advanced ASUS two-way AI noise-canceling technology for improved clarity when in video conferences.
The Intel vPro platform delivers security features like Intel Hardware Shield and Intel Active Management Technology for remote management.
The ASUS ExpertBook B1, on the other hand, is powered by an 11th Generation Intel Core processor coupled with Intel Iris Xe graphics. I also implement ASUS Intelligent Performance technology which allows you to switch between Performance Mode, Balanced Mode, and Whisper Mode.
Lastly, the ASUS Chromebook CX9 is a 14-inch NanoEdge that has a lightweight magnesium-alloy chassis at just 16mm thin and weighs around 1kg making it very portable. It also has MIL-STD 810H certification making it quite durable.
