Haier Philippines on helping affected Filipino families
Willing to extend a helping hand to Filipinos in times of crisis, Haier Philippines, a global appliance brand, is one of those that have been constantly extending relief efforts.
Last January, Haier responded to the Mount Taal victims by visiting the area, giving clothes and food supplies to more than 200 families. Last May, the brand donated two refrigerators to frontline workers working tirelessly to fight the pandemic.
Tulong Tulong, Sabay Sabay Tayong Aahon
Just recently, Haier Philippines partnered with its dealers Alsons & Willy & Sons to initiate “Tulong Tulong, Sabay Sabay Tayong Aahon,” a donation drive catering to the immediate and urgent needs of affected families. During the 3-day relief activity (November 28 to 30), Haier distributed groceries and rice packs, Haier polo shirts, and umbrellas to over 650 families affected by Typhoon Ulysses.
While 2020 may be a tough year for us, seeing fellow Filipinos and brands working hand-in-hand gives us hope amid these difficult times.
Haier Philippines has always been at the helm in helping Filipino communities during such difficult times, proving that more than sales profits, empathy, and social responsibility are also important.
